who we are

We are a bike adventure tour company founded by a couple people who love to ride our bikes and love to share that experience with others. With an extensive background in photography, commercial film direction, cinematography and adventure cycling, we felt that combining these skills would be a good idea. Creating a mood and an experience through photography and film is not dissimilar to creating curated trips and when combining this with riding bikes in beautiful places, it is like a dream.

Tread softly, respect what came before.

  • We offer curated gravel adventures in some of the most special places to ride a bike. We aim to tap into the environment we pass through and honor the communities we interact with. We host, not guide. We may have a few photographers, directors and cinematographers among us so you should walk away with one or two good memories to share with your friends!

  • The Karoo in South Africa, The Green Mountains of Vermont and The Catskills in New York. For now…

  • We’re a small and nimble operation so our dates are movable but we aim to explore at the most opportune time in terms of weather and overall conditions. This means late winter/early Spring in the Karoo, early fall in Vermont and summer in the Catskills.

Adventures

It’s important to us to share something that holds a special place in our hearts. Places that we have a deep connection to. These places encapsulate those experiences. We also believe that everyone should be able to experience the outdoors whenever they like, so we are always happy to share our routes with you. We have experienced these places through others’ generosity. Dot To Dot is about curating these experiences and connecting with community. We’d love for you to join us.

THE Karoo, SOUTh AFRICA

Traverse the arid Karoo in South Africa whilst taking on some of the most iconic gravel passes and experiencing the vastness of this landscape from one of the oldest towns in the country (Graaff-Reinet) through quaint desert towns like Prince Albert and on to Franschhoek in the Cape Winelands before experienced a Cape Peninsula ride in Cape Town.

THE GREEN MOUNTAINS, VERMONT

Explore the ever-undulating hills of The Green Mountains in Vermont. Quietly ascending through the silent canopies of Maple on brutal gradients before careering down the other side on the magic-carpet that is maintained Vermont gravel. But it wouldn’t be Vermont without experiencing some Class 4 chunky stuff too!

THE Catskills, NEW YORK

Explore the Western Catskills deep within Delaware County. We fell in love with this place after visiting Horse Cycles. There are more than just horses here though, there are cows. Many cows. Fields of cows and rolling hills and farms and rivers and some of the most beautiful gravel riding imaginable. We think you may love it too.
